Vera Wang was awarded the Womenswear Designer of the Year award by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

2007

Vera Wang launched her Simply Vera Vera Wang line at Kohl’s department stores nationwide, sharing her modern sensibility with millions of American women and further establishing herself as a style authority.

2010

Vera Wang introduced her bedding collection in partnership with Revman International, Inc.

2011

Vera Wang partnered with Zales Corporation to introduce Vera Wang LOVE, a collection of diamond engagement rings, wedding bands and solitaire jewelry. Signet later acquired Zales Corporation further expanding Vera’s footprint in fine jewelry to Jared, People’s and Ernest Jones stores in US, Canada, and the U.K.

2012

Vera Wang introduced an exclusive collection of rental tuxedos for Men’s Wearhouse, BLACK by Vera Wang.

2013

Vera Wang was honored with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award by the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

2017

Vera Wang was awarded the prestigious Legion of Honor, an order of distinction by the Republic of France.

2019

Vera Wang will celebrate her 30th anniversary as a brand, a celebration of three decades spent at the forefront of fashion.

2021

In 2021, Vera was awarded The National Medal of Arts from President Biden for her pioneering vision which has reshaped fashion in America.

2023

At the CFDA Awards, Vanessa Hudgens presented the Board of Directors’ Tribute to Vera Wang, honoring her enduring influence and legacy in fashion.

2025

Vera Wang, a native New Yorker, understands women who embrace fashion. By age 23, Vera was the youngest ever Vogue fashion editor and stylist, where she remained for 16 years before moving to Ralph Lauren as a design director. In 1990, Vera Wang opened her first flagship store on Manhattan’s famed Madison Avenue, introducing fashion to the bridal industry with revolutionary designs and refined detailing. Since then she has expanded her collections globally to include ready-to-wear, footwear, eyewear, jewelry, fragrance, fine china and crystal, silver and gifts, bedding, fine papers, and her first book, Vera Wang On Weddings.

Vera Wang has won numerous accolades within the fashion industry and beyond. In 2013, Vera Wang was honored with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award
by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. She was honored by the Council again in 2023 with a Board of Director’s Tribute for her transformative contribution to the bridal industry.

In 2017, Vera was awarded the prestigious Legion of Honor, an order of distinction by the Republic of France.
